Torraspapel Paper Case Study
Screenlink are a Dublin-based design and print company who offer a range of services including screen printing, litho printing, digital offset printing and digital wide-format printing. Located in the heart of Dublin city-centre, this well known print business was looking for new paper products for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Our supplies manager, John Jennings introduced Fergus of Screenlink to the Urban Creator range by Torraspapel which is available from Neopost Ireland:
We were looking for a good quality paper that can be used both indoor and outdoor we found this paper was suitable for both and our customers are very happy with the quality of print we get from this paper.
Torraspapel is a leading name in the supply of high-quality wood-free papers throughout Europe. Part of the Lecta Group which also delivers Condat, Torraspapel has a wide range of exciting products that suit a range of applications. We asked Fergus what he thought about the quality of print achievable with the Urban Creator range:
When we first saw the quality of print from the samples that we had being given, I got very excited. The media profile John provided gave us results that I hadn't seen from our wide-format machine in a very long time. The weight of the paper and how quickly the ink dried was also a very big plus from our end.
While cost is always a major factor for printers when selecting media and other consumables, it is by no means the only consideration. Successful printers remain succcessful because they deliver a top-quality service to their clients, as such, they need to select supplies that deliver consistent results that meet their clients expectations:
The cost of the paper was very reasonable but more importantly, the quality of the finished product on the paper gave us peace of mind in the knowledge that our customer was going to be happy. And you can't really put a price on that...
Fergus and the rest of team at Screenlink are very happy with the Urban Creator range and other products we provide from Torraspapel. We asked him if he would change anything about the product and if he ould recommend it to other printers:
How can you improve on perfection? To date, we have had no issues with this paper. We will continue to use this product on our eco-solvent machines and I would have no problem recommending it to other printers.
